Earlier this month Portland, Maine held its annual Christmas Boat Parade of Lights. The evening event features vessels of various shapes and sizes decorated with Christmas lights and sailing through Portland Harbor. Founded in 2001, the parade has featured up to 37 vessels, including one or more ferries from the Casco Bay Lines, like that pictured above. (See here for these and other historical details.)
